Movies You Should Keep On Your Radar For 2021

Everybody thought that 2020 would bring us the best movies with the best cast and the best directors, but we were fools to believe we would still get the chance to see these movies in the midst of a pandemic.

Hopefully, 2021 will be the year of some of the most famous blockbusters. Several of these movies were supposed to be released in 2020. We have been patient so far, but now we can’t wait to see all of them (hoping no one will be postponed to 2022).

See below a list of movies that will completely blow your mind.

  1. No Time To Die

Release date April 2, 2021

Let’s hope that this year we will finally see the last Daniel Craig Bond film (any idea who will be the next James Bond?). Given by the trailer we sense that this one is going to be a great ending for Daniel Craig as our favourite James Bond.

  1. A Quiet Place Part II

Release date April 23, 2021

The second part of A Quiet Place will again see us holding our breaths when the creatures come unexpectedly after hearing a sound.

  1. Black Widow

Release date May 7, 2021

Even though we all saw Black Widow die in the final Avenger’s movie, Endgame, her first stand-alone film will take us back in time. Lucky for us, Scarlett Johansson will be back in action.

  1. Mission Impossible 7

Release date November 19, 2021

Speaking of action, Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt will be back. If you have missed some of his insane stunts, don’t worry as there is more to see…

  1. Dune

Release date October 1, 2021

Denise Villeneuve is back with yet another amazing movie. Why do we say amazing when we haven’t watched it yet?

Well, the person who stands behind outstanding movies such as Arrival, Sicario, Incedies, Priosoners, etc., can’t make a bad movie.

  1. The Suicide Squad

Release date August 6, 2021.

Apparently, DC will give it another try with a second Suicide Squad movie after literally failing with the first one. Margot Robbie will be back again as Harley Quinn alongside a whole new cast and new characters. Let’s hope it won’t be another failure.

  1. The French Dispatch

Release date May 2021

We were hoping to see French Dispatch as one of the Oscars contenders for 2020, but it got postponed due to the pandemic. The upcoming feature from Wes Anderson is described as “a love letter to journalists set at an outpost of an American newspaper in 20th-century Paris and centers on three storylines.”

  1. Candyman

Release date August 27, 2021

After success with Get Out and Us, Jordan Peele is back again with another horror film directed by Nia DaCosta. Visual artist Anthony McCoy becomes exposed to the Candyman and brings him back years after he terrorized the community.

  1. The Eternals

Release date November 5, 2021

Marvel will bring us another superhero squad and a great cast of actors like Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, Kumail Nanjiani and more.

  1. The Matrix 4

Release date December 22, 2021

After nearly 20 years Keanu Reeves is back as Neo. Even though the fourth instalment of the Matrix is kept highly in secret, we have hopes that it will be great.
