Versace may follow in the footsteps of fellow luxury houses Gucci and Jimmy Choo by banning the use of fur. “Fur? I am out of that,” said Versace in an interview for The Economist’s 1843 magazine. “I don’t want to kill animals to make fashion. It doesn’t feel right.” It was a big surprise for all of us because the luxury label has historically included lots of furs across its ranges, from a variety of species including mink and raccoon dog.
This is a great news for animal lovers!
