Showing the underwear was a huge trend back in the 90s. Women mostly liked to show their thongs and it looks like the trend is getting much more attention nowadays. When we saw Hailey Bieber at the 2019 Met Gala in a pink gown by Alexander Wang exposing a thong, we were left speechless. The dress made people talk about it for days, because the thong could be seen by everyone.
Whether we like it or not, we must admit that the 90s are ruling nowadays style. Major trends of those years have had their comeback and they are influencing everyone’s style, even on a daily basis. Donatella Versace brought the exposed thong back on the spotlight for the presentation of Versace’s Spring 2020 collection and again for presentation of the Spring 2021 collection. Get ready to see lots of exposed thongs next year!
Everything, from the choice of accessories, outfits, hair and makeup is being influenced by the 90s.
