Olivier Rousteing’s collection for Balmain was about escaping reality and going far away without a proper destination in mind. That was the whole idea of his fall 2021 collection presented at Charles de Gaulle Airport.
This year, the Chanel show came in a different setting from what we are used to. The brand’s artistic director, Virginie Viard, decided to show the collection in a more intimate space, that of a club. The Chanel Fall 2021 collection was more about tweeds and the chiffon, which resembled the style of the late Stella Tennant, one of Chanel’s muses.
Maison Givenchy gained a whole new look since Matthew Williams became the new creative director. For the fall 2021 collection, the designer presented a dark vibe where black completely dominated the collection, with a few touches of white.
