The Beauty Benefits of Meditation


We are quite familiar with the word meditation, because now and then we come across it. Writing about the benefits of meditation is a never ending book. The energy and positivity that meditation brings in your life is something that you cannot find it everywhere.

Meditation is closely related to the beauty of your skin. As weird as it might sound, but through meditation you get a healthy and beautiful skin. Just try for a moment staying in a quiet place, for example your room and turn off everything that can interrupt you like your phone, laptop or television. Sit down in your bed while you are wearing comfortable clothes and close your eyes. Start breathing deeply and the only thing that you have to do is just focus on your breath and let everything go. Keep your body loose and your mind free of negative thoughts. The key to meditation is your breath, because through it you are taking away all the toxins and negative thoughts that somehow follow you during the day. Through breathing while meditating, the energy that you absorb is like a car, that starts its journey through every possible cell of your body and it fills them with the essence of life. The more you meditate the more your mind will calm and you will feel the happiness in your life. The positive energy that you will absorb is the key to a beautiful skin.

Oprah Winfrey for example is devoted to meditation as she gives herself a moment of tranquility at least once per day for only 20 minutes. She explains that:

“Knowing that stillness is the space where all creative expression, peace, light, and love come to be is a powerfully energizing, yet calming experience. Knowing for sure that even in the daily craziness that bombards us from every direction, there is — still — the constancy of stillness. Only from that space can you create your best work and your best life.”

So try meditating at least 10-20 minutes everyday when you get up in the morning. I believe that mornings are the perfect moment, because you will have a busy day ahead and through meditation you will get the necessary energy and positive thoughts to go on with your day, by doing and judging things in the proper way. Stress, anxiety, tiredness and bad mood will become strangers to you. By keeping stress away, your skin will not suffer from blemishes or acne. By keeping anxiety away, your skin will not suffer from premature aging and by keeping tiredness and bad mood away, you will have a refreshing look and you will boost your confidence.
