Saint Laurent presented its autumn/winter 2018 collection at Paris Fashion Week last night. The runway was set opposite the Eiffel tower in the Fontaine Du Trocadero with spotlights flashing from every angle. We noticed that the collection was all black everything for the current movement ‘Time’s Up’ and #MeToo. Creative director Anthony Vaccarello kept the spirit of the 80s and rock and roll vibes. 80s cocktail ruffles and the giant square shoulders of that decade black leather shorts were paired with sleek jackets and sheer tops for a chic, rock-and-roll look. You can consider one shoulder black dress and earrings fit for a night out on the town.
From this collection we also loved the iconic boots by YSL!
Saint Laurent presented black leather and blazers as a trend for fall/winter 2018. YSL also included flower prints in mini-dresses that recalled YSL’s louche left bank glamour.
Saint Laurent’s message is for the women that they should not be afraid to look hot and sexy, nor be ashamed of that.
