Prince Louis’ Official Christening Portraits

16/07/2018

Prince Louis’ official christening portraits dropped Sunday — and they are a royal dream.

After almost a week of waiting, Prince Louis’s official christening photos are finally here. The series of four portraits (three below and the one above) were taken by Matt Holyoak at Clarence House, the official residence of Prince Charles, after the littlest Prince’s christening on July 9 at the Chapel Royal in St. James’s Palace in London.

The four stunning photos share a few fun similarities (and surprising differences!) with big brother Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s christenings photos. Kensington Palace has released a nice family photo of those in attendance at Westminster Abbey. In a statement, the photographer Matt Holyoak said of the occasion that, “Everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure. I only hope I have captured some of that joy in my photographs.”
