We have all heard stories about people’s houses being in surveillance by the secret police, but what if we told you that this movie talks about an agent of the secret police in 1984 East Berlin, conducting surveillance on a writer and his girlfriend and he becomes so attached to their lives?

 

  1. City of God (Cidade de Deus)

This movie depicts the growth of organized crime in Cidade de Deus in Rio de Janeiro between the 60s and the 80s. A young boy, passionate about photography, finds himself in the middle of all this chaos.

 

  1. A separation

An amazing and touching story that will make you experience every situation as it is happening to you. A couple faces many obstacles in their life, which leads to the decision to get a divorce that brings only disappointment and desperation to their daughter.

 

  1. The Intouchables

A beautiful friendship is born when an immigrant is hired to take care of a disabled man.

 

  1. Cinema Paradiso

Although this movie was released in 1988, not many people have watched it.

A filmmaker sends us back in his childhood when he fell in love with the pictures of the cinema at his village. A beautiful friendship is developed between him and the cinema’s projectionist. The latter taught the young boy how to project a film and show it on the big screen.

 

  1. Spirited Away

A successful Anime worth watching that is not for children only. Chihiro and her parents are trapped in an abandoned theme park. Her parents are transformed into pigs after eating food they find at the theme park and Chihiro is lost in the world of spirits.
