Although it is almost a year since “La La Land” premiere and the Oscars, this movie is still one of our favorites. Inspired by the Golden Age of Hollywood, La La Land was chock full of touching romance, exciting musical numbers and fantastic Los Angeles backdrops.
But besides the movie’s content, its soundtrack, the cast and the whole production being perfect, we couldn’t help but be stunned by its characters’ outfits. Costume designer Mary Zophres has even been nominated for the Best Costume Oscar, so there.
In a CNN interview, costume designer Zophres said that she worked closely with the production designer to complement the outfit with the scenes.
Who wouldn’t love to have Emma Stone’s look at “La La Land” at least once in her life. And just as you think of Emma Stone in this movie, the image of her wonderful yellow dress comes to your mind.
