Just over six months after her split from 25-year-old model Younes Bendjima, Kourtney Kardashian has reportedly moved on with another celebrity—and it’s someone she’s been friends with for years.
A source close to Kardashian reportedly told Radar Online that the eldest Kardashian sister is romantically involved with Travis Barker, the drummer from band Blink-182. The two have been friends for years, but according to the source: “Their friendship is definitely turning romantic, which has taken [Kourtney] by surprise.”
The source said: “Ever since Kourt has been single, they’ve gotten closer and closer—to the point where he sneakily stays at her place now.”
Kardashian and Barker might have been friends for years, but their relationship has stayed strictly platonic—and the source said that Travis “was always left on the shelf while [Kourtney] fulfilled her boy toy fantasies”.
Since her split from Scott Disick (the father of her children Mason, Penelope and Reign), Kardashian famously dated Younes Bendjima, who she reportedly met in Paris—the night before her younger sister, Kim Kardashian West, was robbed at gunpoint in her hotel. Kourtney has revealed that Bendjima acted as a translator with the French Police during the event, which led to him becoming close with the family.
However, Kardashian and Bendjima officially split in August 2018—and after they fuelled reconciliation rumours by having dinner together a month later, TMZ reported that Younes’ meeting with his ex was simply to “squeeze out the last drops of his 15 minutes”.
Kardashian has also been linked to actor Luka Sabbat, and was reportedly seen ‘flirting’ with singer John Mayer in December 2018.
