Jordyn Woods has been busy promoting her eyelash and activewear line and now she’s moving on to hone her acting skills on ABC Family Freeform. Attention all: This is what growth looks like! Jordy is moving on up in Hollywood! Anyway, Jordyn took to Instagram to announce the news she’s kept a secret for a while now, and it looks like she’s headed for an Emmy…well, maybe not right away, but she’s on the right track.
Jordyn’s soon-to-be-appreciated acting chops landed her a guest spot on Freeform’s Grownish series. You know, the one following Yara Shahidi and Luka Sabbat through the highs and lows of college life?
Jordyn shared a photo of a scene she’ll be in, and it looks like she’s telling an intriguing story in the community room of a dorm. Could it be Red Table Talk round two? One can only hope.
You’ll have to wait until the season returns on June 5 to find out what Jordyn’s role is and how many episodes she’ll be in. In the meantime, you can get excited for her by reading her Instagram caption about how this is the first acting gig she’s ever had.
She wrote:
“I’ve been waiting to share this with you guys but I am SO excited to guest star on this season of #grownish it returns June 5th on @freeform This was the first role I’ve ever booked and I was nervous at first but I got past that and had the best time. take risks and stay consistent to your journey, you never know what the world has to offer.”
