Balmain will hold its first couture show since 2002 for its “44 François Premier” line which launched two seasons ago. The show will mark the opening of the new Balmain Paris store at 374 rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. Two seasons ago, Olivier Rousteing launched the line “44 François Premier” which featured tentailored pieces, each made-to-measure for buyers. Balmain, So Different for the Fall/Winter 2018 Collection

05/03/2018

Balmain Fall/Winter 2018 was definitely a pleasant surprise to all of us. The show was held in Paris where we saw a very different Balmain and a collection rich in colors we’d never seen before in Balmain designs. It was inspired by the 80s and the 90s, choosing a futuristic theme featured especially in the sequined trenches. There were plenty of strong shoulder silhouettes, distressed denim and neon-colored dresses. Balmain went with mostly holographic looks and we loved these futuristic…

Balmain look for Balmain show

06/10/2015

Balmain, with all its couture and elegance, is one of my favorite brands. I have always been a fan of their fashion shows and I know almost each of their outfits in details. The fabulous combinations of Oliver Rousteing, especially those of the last fashion show which you can now find on sale, remind me of the golden years of jazz, the `40s; full of fringed colored dresses. Extravagant models were dominant this year, but they came in clearer colors…

FEELING LIKE ALICE IN WONDERLAND

06/07/2015

Sometimes we all get lost in deep thoughts, thinking of different pieces (some maybe not so important) of life. We start analyzing details, different prospective and we dive into our imagination, in its very furthest corners. I ,sometimes , think that imagination is the bridge to our subconscious, the place where we all find a mix of beautiful and sometimes not so beautiful feelings, but in the end, that’s the beauty of life. I have always loved the time I…
