Chanel never ceases to amaze us! I am not only referring to the unique designs, but also to the magnificent scenery always accompanying its collections. Unlike every year, Chanel Spring / Summer 2018 fashion show was organized in “Grand Palais” exhibition hall, where you could see luxuriant rocks and a beautiful waterfall on the models’ back.
The show was simply spectacular and it was opened by Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford’s sixteen year old daughter. Cindy Crawford proudly cheered her on from the front row.
All measures had been taken to protect the models from potential risks of the unusual but special environment.
One could only love the collection. Chanel’s designer, Karl Lagerfeld definitely gave an end to all questions or dilemmas about what to wear on rainy days. He offered a solution by presenting his knee-high transparent boots as well as waterproof hats, gloves and plastic bags.
The whole Chanel Spring / Summer 2018 revealed embroidered and fringed suits, jackets and short skirts, as well as laced dresses and pants. The main theme of the collection was pastel motifs like light blue, pink and white.
