Sotheby’s to Auction Karl Lagerfeld’s Art, Gloves, Cat Dishes, and More

Sotheby’s has announced a three-part Karl Lagerfeld estate auction including artworks by Takashi Murakami, Jeff Koons, over 200 hundred pairs of fingerless gloves, and silver cat dishes once belonging to the partial heir of the $300 million estate: a Birman cat named Choupette. Sale highlights include the late designer’s Rolls Royces, Goyard luggage, suits from Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, and Comme des Garçons, and furniture from Gino Sarfati, Ron Arad, and Martin Szekely.
