2019 Hair Trends

Experts have talked and finally shared the hair trends that will dominate throughout 2019. The previous year was filled with experiments on different shades. Maybe the Kardashian-Jenner sisters had something to do with it, but anyways we saw a variety of sky blue, baby pink, grey hair that were quite the hit.

Blunt bobs

A blunt bob is your hairstyle for 2019. Celebrities have been opting for it since 2018, but we recently saw it on Irina Shayk as she walked the Golden Globes Red Carpet. We absolutely loved her and the hairstyle, so it is time you get a blunt bob too.

Hair accessories are not going anywhere even this year. While the hair accessories from the 90s dominated 2018, this year it is more about going extra big and find a particular embellished hair accessory. Whether it is a hair pin or clip, these two items will be your best friend during summer when you can’t stand the heat. Keep your hair in an easy updo or top knot and style it with an accessory.

Top knots

Top knots are always considered as a woman’s life saviour when she did not have time to fix her hair, or planned to leave the house. While this kind of hairstyle remains mostly indoors, we saw from the Chanel F/W 2018 show that maybe it is time to bring back the “undone” hair trend again out in the public.

Grey hair

People are now starting to embrace their natural grey hair, also opting for different shades of it that would perfectly look natural on them. If you want to opt for this colour, it is better to cut your hair short as the colour will stand better and make you look amazing.

Straight hair

We kind of know the feeling of touching super straight hair as they are quite smooth and light. The Kardashian-Jenner sisters were seen several times with super straight hair and we have to admit that we kind of envied them. Apparently, wavy and curly hair is left behind in 2018, as 2019 is seeking for straight hair.

Rumour has it that women are getting tired of spending hours and hours at the saloon only for a change of colour. We can’t make them guilty for having such a busy schedule. Whether this rumour is true or not, we have seen so many brands launching many at-home colour ranges that help a woman dye her hair at home by herself. These products are very helpful when a retouch of the roots is a must and every 8 weeks they can go to the hair colourist and fix any dye job gone wrong.
