As we start the new year, we also start planning the next destination, which somehow needs to be unique. If you want to have a real experience, we have in mind two destinations that are a must in 2019. Vietnam and Cambodia will offer a unique adventure for you because these places are packed with history, stunning landscapes and many cultural knowledge and amazing food.
Given that they are both inexpensive, you should absolutely consider them.
When referring to specific locations while visiting these two places, we suggest Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, a natural wonder and Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

Vietnam
Ha Long Bay is a wonderful place surrounded with emerald green waters and limestone islands. You can visit this magical place while staying on a Junk Boat for a day or more, depending on your wish.
Vietnam has 8 UNESCO listed sites that include Hoi An, a picturesque riverside city and quite a tourist hot spot.
While at Hoi An you will enjoy some very quality sea food, which is world famous.

They say you haven’t visited Vietnam if you haven’t gone to the noisy capital city, Hanoi. Hanoi has everything that someone wishes while travelling: historic buildings, street vendors, traditional tubular shops, special food (Banh Mi sandwich or Bun Cha).

Sapa is yet another destination in Vietnam and it can be reached from its capital city by bus or by train. Sapa has become a very famous tourist attraction in recent years, especially for those who love nature, and trekking is the biggest tourist highlight.
When it comes to eating, in Vietnam you will find the best food from street stalls. Do not hesitate trying and you will love it. Also, it will cost you almost nothing. The food is light, but a little bit spicy.
Cambodia
Angkor Wat is considered to be the largest religious monument in the world. The Angkor temples have the most beautiful structures made by men and visiting them is such a unique experience.
While staying at the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, there are many tourist attractions for you to visit like the Royal Palace, which allows visitors to see some of the areas.

You can also visit Wat Phon which sits on a tree covered hill. Many believe that this temple is powerful and if you make a wish, you will have it granted.

Sihanoukville is another tourist destination in Cambodia and it is very famous for its beaches.
Food in Cambodia is a must too and quite an interesting experience. Do not restrain yourself from tasting different dishes while traveling.
