Tom Ford is seriously stepping up his beauty game—today the designer opens his first store dedicated entirely to his popular cosmetics and fragrance collections. According to WWD, Tom Ford Beauty is one of the industry’s fastest growing brands, and on track to hit $1 billion in sales before 2019.
Located in London, Ford’s new boutique is two floors of high-tech opulence. LED screens and an abundance of lighting shimmer off the white marble floors, mirrors, chrome surfaces, and layered grey glass sculptures. It’s like being on a high fashion spaceship, right down to a futuristic ‘augmented reality’ that allows customers to virtually try on lipstick shades (we recommend you try the ‘Carine’ from his Boys & Girls collection).
In addition to carrying his products, the store is filled with amenities for fans who want to experience Tom Ford’s particular brand of luxury. Beauty specialists are on hand to teach customers how to craft the best looks, and provide private makeup services such as bridal appointments or masterclasses.
There is even a VIP event space for one-to-one consultations, and a room dedicated to fragrances (including Ford’s new F*cking Fabulous scent) that features a customised scent styling service. Men can get in on the action too with the Grooming Room, which features a range of services such as facials, beard trims, shaves, and a barber, as well as Ford’s men’s skincare collection.
Between all digital assistance and live experts, this might just be the most advanced beauty destination ever. Here’s hoping Ford opens one stateside soon.
