When we found out that there would be a new TV Series in Netflix created by Darren Star, the creator of Sex and the City and the stylist would be Patricia Field, we knew that was the show we all deserved to have during these difficult times. We imagined there would be love, sex, laughter, broken hearts, broken dreams and especially a beautiful wardrobe for the main character.
For some, Emily in Paris was the fairytale the world needed at this time, but somehow the show was faced with accusations by many people as it did not give a real portrayal of Paris but instead, there were lots of clichés about France and the French people that have been lost for years now.
Despite these mixed feelings about the show, we expected to see lots of beautiful outfits worn by Emily (Lily Collins), but instead we ended up seeing some really ugly mix and match. God knows where they found those kinds of combinations of colours, patterns and designs.
Even though the show failed to amaze us with Emily’s outfits, there were two characters that stood out with their remarkable style. We are speaking of Emily’s boss, Sylvie and her French girlfriend, Camille.
Sylvie’s outfits were there to tell us that class and elegance are two words that better describe the Parisian style and Camille’s outfits were there to tell us that a combination between vintage and modern can always win.
So we have dedicated this post to some of the looks of Sylvie and Camille that caught our attention.
