The 2020 Emmy Awards

21/09/2020

Nothing can stop an award show from happening, even a pandemic. The Emmy Awards 2020 took place last night in the most interesting way possible. There was no such thing as a red carpet and no photographers.

The 2020 Emmy Awards was all virtual and the dress code was “come as you are, but make an effort”. But just when we thought that we would see our favourite celebrities wearing PJs, we ended up seeing them wearing the most beautiful gowns. There was style, glamour, beauty and sensuality and we have to thank these celebrities for amusing us and making us laugh while enjoying the Emmys from the comfort of our beds.

During the event we could not help but admire the Little Black Dress from Louis Vuitton worn by Reese Witherspoon, Zendaya’s dress from Christopher John Rogers and Regina King’s Schiaparelli blue dress which was so beautiful.

Some highlights from the event include Zendaya’s first big win for her performance in Euphoria that sent Twitter crazy with everyone twitting about it and the Friends mini reunion where we got to see Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox all together.

Scroll down to see our favourite looks from last night and the list of winners.
