My Fashion Week Survival Kit

19/10/2021

During the fashion week I follow a thorough skincare regimen, because my skin is in contact with different kinds of environments like being on the plane or driving around from one show to the other.

I am sharing with you all the products that I used during Paris Fashion Week. Some of these products are part of my everyday skincare routine, while the others are used for important events.

My skincare routine during fashion week consists of:

1. Cleansers

The Black Mint Clarifying Cleanser by Odacité provides a deep skin cleaning by removing all impurities it has absorbed during the day.

As a micellar water I use the one from Bioderma and Biologique Recherche that helps remove all the heavy makeup I apply during the fashion week.

2. Exfoliators

The Salicylic Acid from Paula’s Choice is my life saviour. The exfoliant prevents my skin from creating acne, a phenomenon that happens when I change places.

During the evening I apply the Active Exfoliant 11% from QMS Medicosmetics that has a gentle peeling effect and provides full vitality to the skin.

3. Serums

The Peptide Booster from Paula’s Choice helps my skin look younger by reducing any signs of dullness and discoloration. I use this one after applying the Salicylic Acid from the same brand.

During the evening I use Night Collagen from QMS Medicosmetics (after using Active Exfoliant 11%), which helps reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The Good C Vitamin C Serum from Dr. Barbara Sturm is the one I’ve been using for quite some time now.

Two other must products from Dr. Barbara Sturm are The Sun Drops SPF 50 that gives my skin protection against both UVA and UVB rays and The Glow Drop which I apply before doing my makeup.

4. Moisturizers

Paris was really cold, so keeping my skin hydrated all the time was challenging, but with the help of Hydrate Facial Moisturizer from Obagi, and The Cream from Agustinus Bader, my skin remained hydrated and nourished.

5. Masks

I apply The invisible Face Mask from Dermastir with Hyaluronic Acid before I attend any event.

When I experience new breakouts, I use the Professional-C Microdermabrasion Polish+Mask from Obagi, which contains 30% vitamin C.

6. Eyecare

During fashion week I make sure that my eyes are hydrated all the time and that is why I use Liposmose from Biologique Recherche, and Cryo-Recovery Eye Serum from Charlotte Tilbury.

7. Retinol

Retinol is part of my skincare routine and I’m using Dermastir Twister Refill Retinol.

After using the retinol, I follow up with a moisturizer. I do the same thing when I apply the Night Collagen from QMS and Peptide Booster from Paula’s Choice.
