Summer Trend: Tie-Dye

What was considered as a major trend in the 60s, 70s and 90s is now a big trend in 2019. The Tie-Dye trend has been present in different decades and those who used to consider themselves as artistic spirits, were the first to embrace such trend.

Global fashion search platform, Lyst, has reported that tie-dye has become one of the most searched keywords on the internet. No doubt such trend has gained popularity over and over again. Famous designers have included the trend in the presentation of their collections for 2019, giving us a hint that everyone will be wearing tie-dye for quite some time.

Celebrities have already been spotted wearing a tie-dye shirt or dress and we also saw the trend during fashion week as influencers ruled street style.

There is nothing particular about a tie-dye shirt or dress except the colour combination. That is what makes this trend coveted by many people. In the 70s, such trend became famous among hippies. Almost everybody owned a tie-dye piece. If you think about it, when it comes to being a free spirit, only a true hippie colour comes to our mind.
