For quite some time now almost everyone is playing the “mask game”. More of a game, this new trend is becoming part of our skincare routine, because we are leaving the traditional masks behind and opting for sheet masks. Sheet masks are part of the K-Beauty family, which are now revolutionizing our concept of skincare and presenting new ideas and technologies that will ease our life and somehow make it more entertaining. Sheet masks were first famous in Asia, especially in South Korea, but now it seems like they are widely popular worldwide and many celebrities are seen wearing a sheet mask while they relax and let the mask do the trick.
Before, sheet masks were used to prepare the skin before applying makeup, but now you can use a sheet mask for every possible reason and need. Depending on your skin’s situation you can use a sheet mask for moisturizing, glowing, firming, lifting, bronzing, brightening and nourishing your skin.
Find a moment for yourself and put a sheet mask on. Leave it for 10-20 minutes, so that the skin absorbs it better. Although the typical situation consists on putting a sheet mask while you are at home, we have seen so many Instagram pics of celebrities putting a sheet mask while on a long flight (that is totally recommended), while getting tanned, before a fashion show (frequently done by models), while taking a bath, etc.
