It was just under a year ago that Selena Gomez signed her big contract with Coach, and we’ve seen a whole range of ad campaigns, buzzy red carpet appearances and even a bag collaboration between the two entities roll out since. The latest on that list is Coach’s holiday 2017-2018 campaign, which features Gomez looking ready to head out for a night of celebratory festivities.
“My personal style doesn’t really change around the holidays,” said Gomez in a release. “I am happy wearing warm clothes. Coach has these amazing shearling jackets that I can’t wait to wear.”
Wearing a lace dress and fur collar designed by Creative Director Stuart Vevers, along with layers of sparkling baubles and a quilted Dinky bag, Gomez is pictured surrounded by wrapped gifts in the back of a vintage car. The brand hopes to position the Dinky as the “star bag of the season,” according to a release, which notes that the style was first released in 1973. New colors and quilted leather update the otherwise classic purse.
Much like the brand’s road trip-themed ads for Fall 2017, this latest campaign is the work of a team of industry stars: Steven Meisel photographed, Karl Templer styled, Guido Palau was on hair duty, Pat McGrath handled makeup and Fabien Baron creative directed.
