There is always a mystery when you see a collection from Saint Laurent, especially when Anthony Vaccarello became the creative director. It looks like the designer is creating his own identity within the fashion house, but such identity is kept under the prestigious fame that the fashion house has gained over the years.
As usual, black colour is the one dominating the fall/winter 2019-2020 collection as it is featured in a variety of sheer black chiffon dresses, asymmetric dresses, leather pants, blazers, etc.
Short and tailoring is what describes best a collection created by Vaccarello and such thing can be perfectly seen in the presentation of Saint Laurent’s Fall 2019 Collection. But, while everyone was admiring the Western-influenced style presented on the runway, the scene changed and models were walking on the runway in 80s-inspired neon dresses under a black light.
