During the day, I always opt for a natural makeup, which is so fresh and light at the same time. Many of you have been asking about the products I use and the way I apply my makeup, so I decided to do a simple tutorial with Make Up For Ever products, to show you how I usually proceed with my makeup. Scroll down and take a look at each step of my daily makeup and the products I use.
Step 1: Radiance and luminosity
Before applying any foundation, I apply all over the face Make Up For Ever Skin Booster, a serum that works to boost skin radiance and luminosity.
Step 2: A touch of tint
A simple trick that I often do is mixing the foundation with the highlighter. For this tutorial, I have used Ultra HD Perfector Foundation and Liquid Highlighter. Both of them are mixed and applied all over the face with a brush. As you can notice, the shade is so natural and it fits perfectly with my skin tone, making it look like I haven’t applied any foundation at all.
Step 3: The Powder Trick
Pro Light Fusion Highlighter Powder makes sure to highlight your best features. The powder is applied with a thin brush on the inner corner of the eye area, below the eyebrows and on the cupids bow.
Step 4: Concealer
The Ultra HD Concealer is used all over the eye area, because it fades away every trace of dark circles or fatigue. The eye area is so delicate and I always make sure it gets the right attention and I like to give it a luminous effect.
Step 5: Shape those brows
No makeup is completed if you do not pay attention to your brows. So, with Make Up For Ever Pro-sculpting Brow Palette in Harmony 1, my brows are shaped and they look bolder by applying a shade that does not overcome the natural color of my brows.
Step 6: The correction process
Make Up For Ever HD Underpainting Correcting Palette in 40 Tan and 50 Dark are used to correct any mistakes to the color of my makeup. The 40 Tan is more used under the eye area, while 50 Dark is used on the cheekbones by using the nose as a reference point, on the nose area and on the jaw line.
Step 7: Color those eyes
Before applying any shade on the eye area, I apply Step 1 Eye and Lip Primer for both eyes and lips to make sure my makeup will stay put for hours. Then I move on with Artist color shadow I702, which is applied on my eyelids and the Acqua XL Eye Pencil in brown color which is applied on the lower lid. As a final touch I use Make Up For Ever Lash Fibers to double the look of my lashes and Smokey Extravagant For Lashes to separate and give them the desirable volume so they won’t clump throughout the day.
Step 8: Cheeks and Lips
On the cheeks I use Artist Face Color Blush, which gives a natural tint to the cheek area. On the lips I apply High Precision Lip Pencil No. 10, which is a warm beige shade and in the end it is time for the Ultra HD Lip Booster No. 1, which hydrates, plumps, smoothes and illuminates the lips.
Step 9: The final touch
To make sure that my makeup will stay put for the entire day, I use Mist and Fix Long Lasting Makeup and I do not have to worry about anything else throughout the day.
