The Met 2018 arrived! This year theme of the show is “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”, to create a dialogue between fashion and the masterworks of religious art in the museum’s holdings.
The theme has been selected to pay tribute to the masterworks of religious art in the museum.
The event is an annual invite-only fundraiser to benefit the museum’s Costume Institute, and an opening party for its spring exhibition.
Met Gala 2018 was fashion’s biggest night but it was also the most-watched red carpet. We need to say that celebs outfits were ‘wow’.
