Call it a secret or not, but a glowing skin can be achieved through a carefully food regime. From a recent interview about wellness, Meghan Markle has highlighted the importance of taking care of the body and skin. She mentioned that:
I take care of my skin and body. And I don’t just take care of myself for aesthetic reasons, but because how I feel is dictated by what I’m eating, how much rest I’m getting and how much water I’m drinking.
A good sleep, combined with the necessary amount of water and a healthy eating, can completely change your well-being and you will absolutely have a healthy lifestyle. When asked about what she usually eats for breakfast, Meghan noted that her choice of breakfast is: Steel-cut oats with bananas or fruit topped with manuka honey and bee pollen.
There is nothing special or never seen about her choice of breakfast, except the fact that Meghan has highlighted that she eats Manuka honey. But, what is Manuka Honey and what are its benefits?
Manuka honey is produced in New Zealand by bees that pollinate the Manuka tree. Its benefits consist of a long list, but most important one is the fact that Manuka honey can boost cell regeneration. It has healing powers, because it can cure acne and skin infections. By adding Manuka honey to your choice of breakfast or diet, you will have a more nourished and healthy skin.
Well, thank you Meghan for telling us your beauty secret!
