Meghan Markle Wears a Serena Williams Blazer

17/10/2018

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have officially kicked off their second day of royal tour. After spending the day in Sydney yesterday, the couple traveled over 200 miles northwest to the city of Dubbo. The Duke and Duchess looked happy as ever after announcing Monday that they’re expecting their first child in the spring.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were seen boarding the plane en route to Dubbo together. Meghan ditched the dresses for a more casual look, consisting of a white button-down shirt by Maison Kitsuné, gray blazer from the Serena Williams Collection, black skinny jeans by Outland Denim, and boots by J.Crew. She kept her hair up in a ponytail.

Markle wore the “Boss” oversized blazer by Williams, who has been her close friend for years and attended the royal wedding in May.

Meghan Markle is a fan of laid-back, breezy hairstyles. For her past public appearances, she’s mostly worn her hair down in subtle waves or up in a loose, low bun with two signature “tendrils” framing the sides of her face. (She even got married in that hairstyle.) But today, for her second day of royal tour in Australia, the Duchess of Sussex kept her face free of stray hairs with a classic, no-fuss ‘do: a ponytail.

She and Prince Harry are set to spend a lot of time outdoors in Dubbo, Australia today, as they’ll meet local farmers suffering from drought, enjoy a barbecue with the public, and play games of net ball and touch football with local students. We’re sure the Duchess will want to keep her hair up while scoring some touchdowns.
