Less than a month after announcing plans to make a TV movie about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s romance, Lifetime has cast its leads. Rising stars Murray Fraser and Parisa Fitz-Henley are to play Britain’s Prince Harry and fiancée Meghan Markle in the upcoming TV film Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance ahead of the couple’s wedding in May. The film will chart the couple’s relationship from the first time that they met. Also The film will trace Prince Harry and Markle’s relationship from the day they met to the overwhelming media attention surrounding their eventual engagement, which was announced in November. Lifetime previously made a film about the relationship between Prince Harry’s older brother, William, The Duke of Cambridge; and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
This isn’t the first time Lifetime has attempted to dramatize a royal wedding. In 2011, it aired William & Kate: The Movie just 11 days before the marriage of Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton.
