Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will headline the Super Bowl Halftime show together this year.
The dual performance, which will take place during the 2020 game in Miami, was announced last night by the two singers, the NFL, and Pepsi, which is sponsoring the event.
“This is happening,” Lopez wrote on Instagram, captioning a cropped photo of Shakira.
Similarly, Shakira posted a photo of the Hustlers star, writing, “Get ready.”
Both later posted the official promo image to their Instagram. Lopez wrote, “Going to set the world on 🔥🔥🔥.” Meanwhile, Shakira said, “It doesn’t get any bigger than this! So excited about getting on that #SuperBowlLIV #PepsiHalftime stage!”
According to the promo poster, this will be the first time that the musicians have performed together onstage.

In a statement, Adam Harter, the PepsiCo senior vice president of Sports, Media and Entertainment, said the company is “so excited” for the two music superstars to share the stage. The first interview between J. Lo and Shakira about the upcoming halftime show will air tonight on NFL’s Thursday Night Football.
The two women are the latest star performers to headline the Super Bowl Halftime show following Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boi in 2019; Justin Timberlake in 2018; Lady Gaga in 2017; Coldplay, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars in 2016; and more.
