Gucci Resort 2019 and the Idea of Death As Fascination

Gucci presented its Cruise 2019 collection in France on Monday evening. The runway which was literally, treacherously split by fire, was set along the Promenade Des Alyscamps. This show was totally different and amazing at the same time. Flames and fire divided the runway which featured candles burning on iron candelabras. “There is a different kind of fashion and beauty, that’s complex, it’s an aesthetic anarchy where everyone belongs”, said Michele. The show came from the concept of death as fascination.

The collection is full of colors and attractive.  Colors, prints and accessories with influences as diverse as religion and rock’n’roll were joined by futuristic bags and eyewear, extra-large jewelry, vintage and romantic.
