Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have reportedly split after more than two years together. It was a mutual decision. According to The Sun, the couple made the decision to split after their busy schedules added strain and distance to their high-profile romance.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Malik wrote: “Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul.”
Hadid also confirmed the breakup on Twitter. “I’m forever grateful for the love, time and life lessons Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend as that I have immense respect and love for. As for the future, whatever’s meant to be will always be. x G.”, she said.
Malik have followed Hadid on Instagram. Hadid still follows Malik for now.The couple first struck up a romance back in November 2015. Although they briefly broke up in June 2016, they quickly got back together just a few days later.
