Frida Kahlo exhibit in Milan

Yesterday on the 1st February it was opened the new exhibition dedicated to the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo in Milan in via Tortona 56. More than 100 works will be presented in the exhibition including 50 paintings, drawings, photographs and for the first time in Italy will be exhibited works from the two largest collections of Frida Kahlo in the world: the Museo Dolores Olmedo of Mexico City and the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection as well as loans from international museums and unpublished archival materials. It includes several items never before exhibited in Europe. This exhibition will stay open until June 3rd. The curator of the Frida Kahlo exhibition in Milan is Diego Sileo.

This is the story of Frida Kahlo, an icon of patience and tenacity in the midst of life’s tragedies.
