Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection expressed an urban femininity. He mixed typically masculine fabrics with cascades of pleating, powerful silhouettes, and an intense palette. “I thought of a woman who lives an intense urban life, who wakes up early, brings her children to school, works, goes to the gym, likes to go out but might not manage to go back home to change,” Fendi told reporters. The collection was all about oversized bomber jackets, cropped rain slickers and slapping its signature logos on them. The belt bag trend and biker shorts are still going strong, too, and Fendi presented several options on the runway. Biker shorts matched with fur jackets resembling biker coats, with the company’s logo on the back.
