Maria Grazia Chiuri is known for her feminist movement and Dior about femininity. She always in catwalks try to speak about women now and for the future. She wants to speak about the heritage but in modern way for contemporary life. Fashion, Women and Arts Go Together in Dior!!!

Once again, Maria Grazia Chiuri proved one of the timeliest expressions of social protest in fashion history. Creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri unveiled her Dior Spring 2018 Couture show yesterday, in an ode to the surrealist art movement at the Musée Rodin in Paris. Dior had evidently been a fan of surrealism as well, as many of the gowns drew inspiration from the house’s archives in the ’40s and ’50s. Dior Spring 2018 Couture is also a tribute to the “spiritual power of today’s women.”

This collection is all about black and white and checkerboard likely to trend soon. Maria for this collection was inspired by Italian Surrealist artist Leonor Fini, a friend of Christian Dior, the late founder of the house in the last 1940s. Leonor Fini, the 20th century female artist known for her depiction of powerful women.

Birds, symbolizing escapism, made their way into the collection through bird cage earrings and mesh cage dresses. The collection is styled on women who appear to be a dominant population and women are given a voice. Dior gets surreal as stars talk Time’s Up at Paris couture. Time’s Up, and times are changing!!!

Models peered out from behind facemasks: some feline, others like mailboxes, all of them black. This collection also will be remembered for its body tattoos, wearing such beautiful words around your neck like a string of pearls. This, also seems to be a strong trend next season and we can’t wait to embrace this collection!
