Today is not a normal day for us fashion lovers. Couture Week has already begun only to leave all of us speechless.
As we leave behind menswear fashion week, everyone’s attention is on the capital of love, Paris. Paris is special and unique. It’s got beauty, fashion, romance, art, music, and many more.
When we think of Paris and the fashion house who better depicts its true beauty, Chanel comes in our minds.
The Chanel Haute Couture Spring Summer 2020 took place today in Paris at the Grand Palais. The venue was transformed in pure heaven only for this special collection where flower blossoms surrounded the place. This beautiful venue was inspired by the cloister garden of the Abbey of Aubazine where Coco Chanel spent much of her childhood. It brought another meaning to today’s collection. For a moment everyone forgot about the coldness of January and the grey sky.
Spring came at the Grand Palais in Paris where famous models such as Kaia Gerber, Gigi Hadid, Rebecca Longendyke, etc., walked in the most romantic and beautiful dresses. White absolutely dominated the collection and we also had the opportunity to see the new version of the Chanel bride from the vision of Chanel’s new Creative Director after Karl Lagerfeld’s death, Virginie Viard. The new Chanel bride is more minimalistic and modern.
