Another year has almost past and we have to say that 2017 proved to be a great year for new fashion trend. 2017 was dominated by uncertainty, but it’s no coincidence that the year’s biggest lifestyle trends brought us joy and comfort.
2017 was so colorful year, and may will be remembered about blazers, socks boots, floral print and the spirit of the 80s.
Looking back at some of the most out-there trends we saw during this year, we have rounded biggest trends that rocked 2017:
Off Shoulder
If I had to pick only one Summer 2017 fashion trend it would be off the shoulder tops. The off-the-shoulder trend has really shown some staying power in the fashion world, and it’s cool in all the right ways.
Stripes
The stripes trend was one of the biggest looks for spring/summer 2017. They never really go out of style, but this season stripes were everywhere, in multi-colors. You never can look bad with stripes, only stylish, classic, chic, a little weird. have this superpower that they can’t look bad.
Floral Prints
Head-to-toe florals were huge trend during the shows. Floral Prints was everywhere this year. It was a big trend for spring summer. Florals trend was no longer synonymous of summer fashion. Florals was the perfect remedy for the gloomy, winter weather. We saw it on the runways of brands like Coach 1941, Tory Burch, as well as Anna Sui, Kate Spade New York, and Altuzarra. We haven’t seen this trend only on the runways, but we saw at street style. So cool!
Blazers
One trend that seems to have exploded this season is the over-sized check blazer and not only. There was everywhere: in coats, jackets, mini-skirts, jumpsuits, pants and dresses. The blazers first appeared on the fall runways and they were paired with a matching mini skirt and almost-sheer black tights resulting in a 80s power look.
Sock Boots
The biggest boot trend for fall was the sock boot and as proven by the runways of Burberry, Prabal Gurung, Balenciaga, Fendi, and Loewe, many will soon follow suit. They’re made to make huge style statements. A cool vintage vibe, and they’re truly unique.
Belt Bags
Belt Bags trend was going strong on SS17 catwalks with Kenzo, Stella McCartney etc. Thanks to brands like Chanel and Gucci, the belt bag was back this year and it’s so damn cute! This one was perfect for anyone who didn’t want to spend too much on a bag, but definitely wanted the comfort and convenience of not carrying a full size bag.
Puffy
Puffers have dominated the runways in recent seasons and were also present in the fall/winter 2017 collection.This season is to expect no shortage of variety; classic black won’t be your only option. We have seen puffers in different colors and are just amazing!
Underwear
Underwear as outerwear trend was a key look for fashion girls at the moment. A bodysuit, a bra, a slip are the perfect way to ease into the underwear as outerwear trend. The trend to wear underwear as outerwear was this must-have high street style for 2017.
Retro Hats
Glam vintage hats was back for Fall/Winter 2017. A new femininity and vintage trend for this season!
Circle bag
What is one thing that we are seeing it everywhere and love it? Among the bags we’ve started seeing are about to blow up in popularity. Yes, we are talking about circle/round bags. Circle bags, simply amazing!! We can’t get enough of them.
