Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter, Blue Ivy proved on Saturday night, she is an art connoisseur. She bid an incredible $19,000 for an acrylic painting of actor Sidney Poitier while attending the Wearable Art Gala with her parents, organized by Blue’s grandparents, Tina Knowles and husband Richard Lawson. After she raised her hand, her dad Jay-Z jokingly tried to stop her bidding, drawing laughs from the rest of the crowd. Despite her best efforts, Director Tyler Perry then bid US$20,000 (NZ$27,740) and won the art piece.
