Best Met Gala After Party Looks

In opera they say, “It isn’t over until the fat lady sings”. In fashion? It isn’t over until after the after party. And with the looks from the Met Gala 2019 after party just starting to roll out, the ‘Oscars of Fashion’ is clearly far from finished.

While this year’s theme ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ provided us with many delightfully avant-garde ensembles, from the Jenner sisters’ fantastical feathers to Lady Gaga’s theatrical quadruple change, the after party gives celebrities free rein to play sans restrictions. Then of course, there are those that prefer to stay on-theme with their looks even after the Gala has ended, like Kim Kardashian West and her blue-hued tribute to Cher.

Although the after party may lack the grandeur of the gala, it’s always served up some serious winners, with previous years’ parties featuring everything from bombshell bustiers to embellished catsuits.
