Leave it to the makeup artists during Paris Fashion Week and they will express their creativity as well as some crazy moments of beauty. Paris has always been coveted for having the best fashion houses that only scream the word elegance, but such elegance is perfectly combined with the most extravagant hair and makeup looks seen on the most famous catwalks.
So far we have seen the presence of such beauty trends as glitter, the classic red lipstick, the graphic eyeliner, colorful eyeshadows, the no makeup makeup look, braids, hair kept in a ponytail, crazy curls, topknots etc.
But, when it comes to Paris Fashion Week, such trends have a major transformation and they are shown in a different way which is quite unique.
For an instance, when mentioning glitter we think of it applied on the eye area, but at Giambattista Valli, hair was full of multicolored glitter.
But the glitter trend was present even on the eye area as the wonderful makeup artist, Pat McGrath, who is known for creating the sparkling lips trend, gave us the version of sparkling eyes. Backstage at Valentino, models had Swarovski tiny crystals placed on the eye area in the shape of a cat-eye.
If you want a little bit of drama, you can get inspired from Saint Laurent’s Fashion Show as makeup artist, Tom Pecheux, created the smoky-eye look that was combined with red lipstick.
When it comes to the hairstyle, the classic chignon had a modern retouch at Paco Rabanne’s Fashion Show. The hairstyle is very comfortable and unique at the same time.
Maybe your spring 2019 needs a bit of drama, and Paris Fashion Week is ideal to get you inspired. Have a look at some other drama moments from the beautiful catwalks of the French capital. We have also chosen the simplest looks for you, if you are not so into being extravagant.
