For many years now watching fashion shows has turned into a habit that will never die. Despite having daily tight schedules, we still find time to watch our favorite shows and get inspiration regarding the upcoming trends. Any fashion enthusiast can spot at least two or three trends only by watching a few shows and foresee which one will turn into being major.
As fashion week kicked off in New York on September 5th, every fashion enthusiast was back in business to watch what the designers have in store for us in the upcoming season. As we admire the beautiful outfits presented on the catwalk, we cannot keep our eyes away from the choice of hair and makeup, which is turning out to be almost unique.
Uniqueness was seen at Tom Ford fashion show, where the metallic smoky eye look was presented in a new version. Makeup artist, Diane Kendal, opted for a glossy metallic smoky eye look that will make your eyes the center of attention.

From glossy eyes we move to glitter lips as seen at Jeremy Scott. It looks like simplicity will not be an option when it comes to embrace the Spring/Summer 2019 beauty trends. Well, glittermania is still not over and we will embrace it like pros.

But Rodarte fashion show is the one that most surprised us so far, as the makeup artist, James Kaliardos, was inspired by Picasso to create the makeup look that featured bold colors applied on the eye area, cheeks and lips. Even the choice of hairstyle was special, with curly hair, which was perfectly adorned with flowers by Joseph Free.

A little simplicity with a touch of romanticism was seen at Brock Collection. Only a light blush was applied on the model’s cheeks and a delicate shade on the lips. Hair was kept half-up and half-down. Such a romantic look, it reminded us of Liv Tyler in Stealing Beauty.

One of the highlights of New York Fashion Week was for sure Savage x Fenty By Rihanna fashion show. As soon as the show was over, every social media channel and online portal was filled with pictures from the show. Besides the wonderful collection of lingerie presented on the runway, we could not keep our eyes from Bella Hadid and we have to admit that we absolutely love the idea of applying any shade of eyeliner on the eye area. As summer is all about colors, we should skip the traditional black eyeliner and opt for colors like the blue shade it was applied on Bella’s eyes. On other models there were applied different shades of eyeshadows.

As always, Marc Jacobs closed New York Fashion Week and the designer certainly brought back the 60s fashion for us. But, what we loved more was the idea of making 35 models dye their hair in pastel colors only for the show. Such thing got us into thinking that maybe next season we should add a little bit of color to our hair.

Don’t you think for a second that hair accessories are gone, because at Michael Kors’s Fashion Show models had their hair perfectly kept in place with a headscarf or a turban.
