It looks like Balmain’s Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing, is rocking the 80s better than ever. The French designer is known for his passion for bringing the 80s vibes on the runways. This can be seen in many of his creations like the oversized shoulders, loose denim pants and XXL denim jackets, bling blings and so much shine.
This morning, Rousteing presented Balmain’s fall 2019 collection and we have to admit that it was amazing. It looked like the runway was completely dominated by rock n’ roll lovers wearing oversized moto jackets, metal spikes, denim on denim, without forgetting the headband as an accessory, which keeps getting even more coveted each year.
If you look closely to the collection you notice that there is a mix of the 80s, because it features many pieces which are perfect for that wild spirited woman, but you also see the woman who is more feminine and natural. Rousteing made sure not to restrain himself and bring his own vision of the 80s under the rhythms of Eurythmics, Depeche Mode and Alphaville.
