The Balmain Army stepped down today in Paris for an impressive show, where everything was about bold and leather. It is a fact now that latex and leather will be a thing this year, but who would have thought that we’d see it in most of the collections.
Olivier Rousteing is well known among fashion lovers about his creativity, which becomes unique in the eyes of those who admire fashion and follow its evolution each year.
The Balmain Autumn Winter collection was a celebration of the past, especially of the 80s of Rock `N Roll and the 90s of pop. The designer invited the most famous supermodels on his great show: Helena Christensen, Esther Cañadas, Liya Kebede, Julia Stegner, Carolina Rebeiro and Erin Wasson.
There is nothing awful about this collection created as a manifesto of the past. Each design is unique and the combination of the colours make it even more coveted among fashion lovers.
Such an impressive collection, that begins with warm hues to leave place to bold and strong colours.
