Fashion week is never without spectacle. Rocket ships, waterfalls, all the ’90s supers: It’s not easy to make headlines, let alone to be first to do anything on the runway. But today at the Thom Browne show, the American designer pulled-off the nearly impossible, doing something we’ve never seen before.
He sent an actual unicorn down the runway.
As the finale of the spring 2018 show, two men donned gauzy white equestrian-style suits and maneuvered the majestic unicorn fluidly down the horseshoe-shaped runway. Magical, indeed. And maybe a great time to revisit the mystical equine’s recent rise to fame.
