And the hangover is already haunting you …
Well, what we do before we even take the first sip of the night is key here. Prevention, prevention, prevention. We’re all for being proactive: with our health and our hangovers (or lack of). Do these three things before drinking to (hopefully) help rule out a gnarly hangover in the morning. They aren’t foolproof “no hangover” hacks, but they will make the next day way less miserable. Trust.

STOCK UP ON ELECTROLYTES.
Electrolytes are minerals essential to balance our body’s hydration. Make sure your fridge is stocked with an electrolyte-heavy drink, or be sure to have it in powder form. Start drinking it the morning of your night out by adding it to your water and continue to do the same the next a.m.
ADD CHLOROPHYLL DROPS TO YOUR WATER.
Drinking chlorophyll water helps to detoxify and rid the body of toxins (AKA the alcohol you’re about to consume), and provides other wellness benefits, which you can read about here. Simply put: the green stuff is good for you! To hop on the chlorophyll water wagon, add the below drops to your daily hydration routine.
SIP BEET JUICE.
The nutrients from beets help to level out the body’s acidity post-drinking, and nitric oxide found in beets helps to improve blood flow and oxygen throughout the body. Drinking beet juice prior to consuming alcohol can also help coat your liver cells, making this another great pre-and-post cocktails hangover remedy.
And of course hydrate, and then hydrate some more. Drink a glass of water in between each cocktail or glass of wine. Another good tip: take milk thistle supplements. While they don’t help with the hangover side of things, they do help support liver health and act as a natural liver cleanser.
